Jaden Ransley isn’t old enough to get a driver license, but that won’t stop him from competing in a premier motor racing championship in summer. The 14-year-old St Thomas of Canterbury College pupil will compete in the Toyota 86 Championship, starting on the fast straights of Pukekohe on November 4. Ransley, who won the 100cc junior Yamaha class at the Kartsport NZ Sprint Championship earlier this year, is stepping up from a successful karting career. “It’s going to be tough, that’s for sure, all the drivers will be going for it,” Ransley said.
