College Ball – Saturday 24 September
Dear Parents and Caregivers,
I would like to warmly invite you to join us on Saturday 24 September at the Addington Raceway for this year’s College Ball.
Often our young men will ask their parents not to come to the ball, however it is the presence of our parent community that ensures a successful evening. Today I met with our students and explained to them the importance of having our parents, caregivers and grandparents present – it is a night that we most definitely need the support of our parent community.
Without parental support it is not possible for us to run the ball in the format that we do – I have been to 18 St Thomas’ formals and they have all been extremely successful entirely reliant on the partnership between staff, parents and students.
The College Ball is a celebration of the development and growth journey our young men have taken throughout their time at St Thomas’. We work in relationship with our wonderful parent community to walk alongside our young men in educating hearts. We would be honoured if you would join us at this social function to celebrate and reflect on the journey our young men have taken.
This is a great night of relaxed chat, the opportunity to share a delicious supper, and if you are keen, a bit of dancing as our live band entertains us. We would love you to be a part of this enjoyable night with your son, our staff and other parents of the College. It is always a fun night, which many of our staff attend and thoroughly enjoy – your company would make it an even more pleasurable night!
Please contact Jackie Redmond for tickets; firstname.lastname@example.org or drop into the school to purchase.
We look forward to seeing you on the night.
