Dumplings Galore!

In the last week of Term 3, during Chinese Language Week, our Year 11, 12 and 13 Chinese students prepared, assembled and cooked over 200 dumplings! 

We prepared the filling with various herbs, vegetables, sauces and minced pork and learnt how to fill the pastry to make various dumpling shapes. We then pan-fried the dumplings and ate as many as we possibly could!

We are very grateful for the funding from the Asia New Zealand Foundation which enabled us to run this without cost to the students.
