Nau mai, haere mai, talofa lava, malo e lelei, bula vinaka, kia orana, warm greetings

I would like to start this week’s newsletter by expressing my gratitude to our parent community for working so closely with us in implementing our safety plan in response to living with covid in our community. I am also extremely proud of our students, teaching staff and all support staff for the way we are navigating challenging times for all.

I have spent this week speaking to several groups of students and staff around resilience and how this period of time gives us an opportunity to practice our levels of resilience. Instead of feeling anxious of challenges it gives us an opportunity to get excited about challenges and come up with new and innovative ways to live our lives.

I have no doubt that throughout the next 4 weeks we will have further positive cases in our community in which we will continue to use our contact tracing processes. Our main goal is to ensure we stay open for face to face teaching throughout this time. In order to do this we will continue to aim to limit spread within our community through isolating our identified close contacts, I thank you in advance for supporting this plan fully. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact either myself or Paul Burton via our covid email address,
