As we head in to the tail end of our winter sports season we have been fortunate to have a huge amount of success and now see many of our teams qualifiying for home semis. I will talk more about this soon, but first I wish to acknowledge four students who received sporting honors ties at our assembly on Monday. Congratulations to these four young men who continue to work so hard and dedicate so much to their chosen sports and who now represent our college and our country.

Daniel Prescott – NZ Cross Country

Toby Gibson – NZ Māori Rugby League 17s

Bishop Neal – NZ Māori Rugby League 15s

Neihana Mata’afa – NZ Touch Rugby U16 Boys

Well done men, amazing achievements!

Our top teams have all had remarkable seasons to date and we wish them all the very best for these playoff matches.

As always we ask that we celebrate and support these matches ‘our way’, through positive chants and support of our teams. We are expecting 2000+ people at the 1st XV semi final vs St Bedes tomorrow. Parking is now limited with the cycleway in place, however OLV have kindly offered their parking for the match. Please park there and use our path to walk over and through the college to the sports fields. Let’s get out and support our young men who have worked and committed to being great team men this season. #manawa #brotherhood #compassion #Legacy
