Year 10 Camp 2022

Kia Ora Koutou and warm greetings, parents and caregivers of Year 10 Students,

It is that time of the year again where our Year 10 Rite Journey students prepare to head off on the ‘Departure and Abyss’ stage in the Rite Journey programme. This is known more commonly as the Year 10 Boyle River camp.

You will have been sent information and filled this out around consent and equipment needed.

The camp is obviously a smoking, alcohol, and vaping free camp. As was mentioned in the information sent out earlier, devices and electronics are taken to camp at the student’s own risk. The teachers on camp will look after these if requested.

If you can assist with any baking or food for the young men, this would be greatly appreciated.

If the students can bring an extra tarp, that would also be fantastic, if possible.

Here is a link where students can let us know what gear they need from us – if everyone could please fill it out, even if they don’t need anything, that would be appreciated;

Please see the attached information for further camp details – please return the camp health book to your RTJ teacher by next Friday 28th October.

Finally, a heads up for some other key dates coming up later this term (more details to be sent out closer to the day).

    1 course selection opens online (closes November 16th)
  • 2nd November – NCEA Information evening (more information to follow)
