St Thomas of Canterbury College – Enrolment scheme adopted
To avoid overcrowding, or the likelihood of overcrowding, the board of St Thomas of Canterbury College has adopted an enrolment scheme that has been approved by the Secretary for Education. Under this scheme, students will be enrolled if they live within the home zone, described as Catholic Parishes of Sockburn, Hornby and Darfield, Riccarton, Hoon Hay and Halswell, Leeston, Lincoln and Akaroa. The Enrolment scheme and the description of the boundaries of the home zone can be viewed at the school office and found on our website homepage https://www.stc.school.nz/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/STC-Enrolment-Scheme-approved_15-12-2017.pdf. The enrolment of out-of-zone students is governed by the provisions of the Education Act 1989.
